How come I see a green rectangle instead of Gordon's model with the info_player_start entity even thought I use Hammer 3.5b?

Have you unpacked your models to valvemodels?

How do I do that?

Get GCFScape for Steam or use Wally or HLMV to open WON pak files and extract your models.

You need the 3.5 FGD from the VERC too.

mine does that too so i just ignore it and it works fine i mean if u cant even tell a green box is the player start well then...

Well, it helps to have model view for certain scripted_sequences and when working with most models, for that matter.

You need hammer 3.5 beta and its custom fgd for the In-hammer-models to work.

u can get them from a sit but since i 4 gt the site i am just going to say search google!

He's got that already. Remember to get the FGD and to unpack the models. What type of Half-Life do you have, Retail or Steam?

RETAIL: You need a program like Pak Explorer which will 'unzip' the 'pak0.pak' file.
STEAM: As Rabid said, you need GFCScape to 'unzip' the 'GCF' files.

Make sure that you are using the new FGD in Hammer and it should work.
