How do I add a model to my map for dpb. I tryed using a monster_generic with no luck. The model was in dpb/models/ and I entered the path correct. I then tried using cycler andl now every time I go to load the map it freezes. I even tried adding ! before model name because on some site I heard you had to do that.The model's name is alien.mdl I got it from my tfc folder and I have seen it use in game. I places it in my dpb/models/ folder.
Maybe some of my properties for the cycler are rong.

My second question is I tried making a waterfall and Im having some trouble. I was able to get water at top of the map like a pool but it wont flow over. I have read every tutorial I can find on waterfalls but on every one at the same part Im having trouble.

You don't provide much information on your waterfall problem. Did you try the tutorial on waterfalls on this site?

Alright for the waterfall I created a long object going straight down the map for the water going down. I then created a pool at the top and grouped them and turned them into func_conveyor. I then copied the grouped func_conveyor put it in the exact same spot and made it a func_water.

I don't think you want to group the horizontal pool with the vertical.

Try making just a waterfall and get it working. Then add a pool with moving water at the top.

Again, did you try the tutorial on waterfalls on this site? It discusses both moving (horizontal) water and vertical waterfalls.

Yes I read the tutorial many times and still didnt understand it but my bigest concern is adding the models.

Dont write the dpb part, just

models/blah.mdl (Unless its in its own folder, then its models/<folder>/blah.mdl

I have tried that I was just putting dpb/ so you guys know what mod. I can take screenshot maybe that will help.

y not make the water a SCROLL texture? and the models, i never use those entitys

I tried a scrool texture which worked perfect except one part was going rong way (easy fix). I guess Ill end up doing that.

Afaik monster_generics are not implemented in DPB, much like how they do not work in Cstrike either.

You need to use cycler or cycler_sprites in this case - as your cycler seems to be causing problems, try the sprite. You have to manually enter the model name, though, as browsing, uh, looks for sprites.
I even tried adding ! before model name because on some site I heard you had to do that
That's for sentence groups.

I give up cycler_sprites dosent work either but on the dpb forums I have seen map with player models I believe he said he use a cycler but that freezes my map could it be the model.

For your scrolling texture, use the Texture Application mode to rotate the texture.
