ok i got counterstrike/steam whatever and hammer 3.4 and all that. When ever im setting up hammer for cs thow i cant seem to find everything ineed. Do i need to unpak anything? I tryed unpacking the cs folder to get its textures but it wouldnt work.,,maybe its because i downloaded counterstrike with the whole steam pak? please help.

Take a look at the tutorial for Setup: CS. After you try that tutorial, be more specific about which step you couldn't complete and we'll see if we can help.

You need to un-GCF the files to be able to use them.

Get GCFScape there and unpack the CS files you'd like (usually models, sounds, sprites and textures) to your@username/Counter-Strike/cstrike.
