Hi I'm creating a map and I need some help with a room I need to be really dark except for a little light at the end. Their is door to walk in but I need it like completely dark even then because just a little ways in their is whole in ground and you fall. Is their any possible way to do this if not I will just use find_breakable.

use the lights.rad as you can adjust what textures put off what light and how much. i would recomend using like a little red light by the door to let them know thats where it is but not bright enough to see the hole. ;)

I think you just want to adjust the brightness of the light right? Go into the lights properties and adjust brightness. The first 3 numbers make up the color, the last one is brightness. Play with that until you find just the right amount of light you need.

yea, no light sucks hard. its better to have the red light there just to vaguely see where u are

1. Read the Texture Lighting tutorial;
2. Use func_illusionaries for non-solid brushes.

click the eneties selection and find lights and put very few of them in it should work and then dim the lights a little and see if it works
