How do I make a monster be larger or smaller then it really is, like make a giant scientis or something, I believe, I saw it done before...

You can do this with Spirit, methinks.
You can also scale bones/models in HLMV/JHLMV but you'd need to include the replacement model with your map.

You can also code it manually. Check out this tutorial:

You'll need a dll compiler to code this. I recommend MSV C++ 6.0, but its an expensive program. You also need the Half-Life SDK. Get it here:
