I am trying to play a lan game with cs 1.5 and with bots buts I keep getting this same error that I've always gotten. If the first thing I do is start my server then most of the screen is taken up by a big box. If I leave and come back the box goes away but the screen is flashing!!!! And if I end the server and start another one nothing works and I can't pick a team! The old solution to this was to join a server and leave THEN start my server. This always fixed the problem but now that there are no more servers i can't do that! If any of you know what I'm talking about and know how to fix it please do tell!!!

Never mind I fixed it.

I dunno, but somehow it was fixed if I changed the map, exited to the menu, went to the main multiplayer menu, and clicked resume game. Doesn't work any other way either. very strange solution.

Same thing happens to me. It started happening the day I downloaded Steam.

Well I can run cs 1.5 lan games fine with steam installed. Must be your sucky computers.

NiNjA is a 1.5 only cheat, so dont start flaming me about being a loser who has no skills because I'm only having fun.
