Atom, I am personally begging you to do some work on the site now that Half Life 2 has been official released at Nov. 16 - the time has come. Theres about a month until it comes out and I really wish that you could update the site to make it a little more HL2 compliant. A new message board, some separation between HL2 maps and tutorials vs. HL maps and tutorials. I will help you in any I way that I can. (although I do not think that there is much that I can personally help with because this site will stop working the minute I put my php coding skills to good use) -Dave

Maybe the next compo should be a "design the best mapping site for HL2" compo.... I bet that'd save some time.

lol
I actually have attempted to make a TWHL 2 - its alot harder than it sounds. And, I'm sorry but I don't have 8-12 $ per month to spend on getting a proper site. And without spending money on it, your not going to get a decent site. In one of my messages to atom he said that it was easy to make this site once you learned a few tutorials... heh, maybe he has a photograhpic memory or something.

I agree, a new look would be good, perhaps some new features liek IP tracking, and an email address as a mandatory requirement.

Basically anythign taht prevents people from remaining anonymous and causing trouble like noobs.

Atom has been in touch,
There are things being done behind the scenes...

Anyone know a good reliable php programmer in our membership?
E-mail me HERE if you do.

Hi there,

Yes, finally there's a motivator on the horizon : )

TWHL needs a complete rewrite - that's why I've been putting off the small
changes - it takes a long time to get back into old code, and that old code
needs to be rewritten from scratch.

I'm currently in the middle of final exams. They end the same week HL 2
comes out.... things can happen then.

Thomas

(Atoms reply to my original email. This convinces me we will see some changes when his exams are over!)

Thomas = atom

Maybe it's actually "ay tom", not "atomme" as we've all imagined?

Or he named himself after a relative of the half-life genre. Atom being the item that half-life is reffering to...

Or maybe he's a spirit from teh spirit world?
Destined to bring the holy wine?
