I'm a member of the www.learntohack.org and had finished all the 15 moderate levels and one of the cracking levels, since they're friggin dificult. Check the completed list and search for Phuture (ctrl+F). It's mainly for advanced people.

Its a different kind of fun. And you get that warm, nerdy feeling when you pass a level. Not all games involve shooting. That's whats wrong with the world today, everything is geared toward angry CSers, like you.

Hacking brings you some higher state of fun - you realise you're better than the ordinary browsing people around. Especially when you break into someones machine... uber exciting!
Try the Street Hacker - it not only involves hacking but phraeking as well - you can buy a machinegun, inflirtate the Empire State Building, shoot all the gurds, disable cameras, phone lines, etc., and when the SWAT comes to the scene take hostages. Just rocks me...

That's why it's helpful to use Tabbed Windows in FireFox (Ctrl-T) since they're much faster and easier to use, imo.

At school one day during maths i was on my laptop. Some weird kid came up to me and told me to check out the site or something(try2hack.nl) then months later i was on IRC #twhl and some how a hacking conversation was started and i mentioned the stupid site (try2hack.nl) and now it spreading like crazy. I couldnt even beat level one i had to ask some kid and then i was on to level two but i gave up and havn't been on it ever since.
