The best thing that's ever happened to me was not getting caught with that hash cake in my pocket through Amsterdam customs. They simply asked me what it was and I replied "it's a cake." Fortunately they did not question me any further and allowed me to proceed through the gates.

good things? for me its more how i solve the bad things. example:

i had been doing homework the night before, and the next day discovered i had left my pencil on my desk. not a problem. i just sat down where people had piled their blazers (our school has a uniform) and slipped my hand into a random blazer pocket. lo and behold! could it be!? why yes it is! a shiny, brand new marks and spencer pencil! and just because i'm me, i left a little note in their pocket that simply read "Owned".
bows, and walks off stage, narrowly avoiding the tomatoes

oh, well.

Something that has happened to me is that my aunt recently got her surgery and no longer has breast cancer.
