I wouldn't doubt if there was already a post on this, but if there was I declare this the new one! These are some of the pictures from my vacation this summer. I actually took like 120 pictures using my digi-cam but I only made these smaller and put them on the web. I plan to put more, but these are preety cool for now.

Nice pictures, what kind of camera did you use?

I really LOve the creek and the first two pictures, but tbh I don't think there's a lot you could have done to spoil a picture like that, the beauty of nature does all teh work for you.

Saying that, some great pics, the mountain peak ones got a little repetitive (ie, there were just too many, not enough greenery), but the view was still stunning.

Looks liek a really great place to visit, not so sure about living there if it's just snowing all the time, but shzzle, great looking scenery, you frickin' yanks get all the best stuff, best nature reserves, best whiskey, best guns, best porn, and teh best terrorist attacks.. and what do we get pfff! Tony fuxin' Blair!

[edit: great pics]

I thought about to create such a thread too, but you were faster ;)

Photography is my favourite hobby beside mapping of course. ;)

Unfortunatelly my cam is very old and so the quality of my pics is not very good. Nevertheless i will show you some pics i made.
Hope you like them. :-)

@Hakuna

Those pics are interesting, I like the coloring on them, b/w rules! Adding in the red rose for that dark pic was a cool effect though.

@davideo

The 9th picture of you is in my eyes the best because of the excellent contrast. The mountain full of snow between the blue sky and the brown ground with the not really safe looking fence is very nice.

Great looking landscape.
Wish i was there too.

aw shit what did I do wrong...

Yeah the 9th pic is really great along with the creek one. The 9th is a paralax (or whatever that word is) cuz your eyes just go in a constant circle looking at all the stuff.

I didn't even notice the explosives part of it, I just took it to show how high up we were (10,000ft). See my attention span?

I've seen it, but I don't really like his old buildings photo's no offense rabid. Its probably because I am comparing them to abandoned places.
Posted 19 years ago2004-10-26 20:55:22 UTC Post #69645
Yeah, mine aren't nearly as good as AP merely for the fact there are no cool places like that around here in Denver since abandoned buildings get snatched up really quick by Developers and are torn down :(

There is teh old Rubber Factory, but it's heavily guarded and sealed.

Dave: [b] is for bold!

And I was talking about how you guys get great scenery, and we over here in the UK get rain and a shitty view...

I agree on that, it sucks in Wales especially, I can't actually remember what the sun looks like. :(
