gl_wireframe 1 or 2

try starting the game with developer set in the parameters

It's -dev.

Also, you need to be running in OpenGL. Then again, you should be anyway.

you need to open console and type in gl_wireframe 2

-dev doesn't make much of a difference to the actual game, it's not liek Gordon comes out with bells on shouting "developer is on!!"

It just is.

Why do you need gl_wireframe anywya, can't say I've ever really had to use it..

HL is primarily an OpenGL game, use OpenGL. D3D is just for cards that didn't support OpenGL, basically.

It'd be like running Unreal on an integrated 56mb gfx card, that's 12 years old, and on fire...

..and has AIDS, and Cancer..
...and it's also dead.
