Holloween was started in Ireland, not America. It's roots are traced back to the great patato famine. I don't remember the whole story, but it has to do with starving Irish people going house to house, and it evolved into a "Scary time with lotz of candy".
Anyway, its just a fun time for young children to go around and get candy from their neighbors. Of course there is the occasional phyco that puts razor blades in popcorn balls and candy apples, but there are ways to know if the candy has been tampered with. There hasn't been one of those freaks in a while.
Highschoolers here in America usually do acts of vandalism during Halloween, which I really do not aprove of (Exept pumpkin smashing
)
Hey! The pumpkins are just going to be thrown out!
well, I'm going to carve a pumpkin with frankenstein and put "Kerry" next to it, and carve a pumpkin with a monkey and put "Bush" on it, hehe.
HAPPY HOLLOWEEN EVERYBODY!
And God scare us, every one...
