K i hope one or even a few of you guys/gals check this out,
when i build a map and then go to compile when i click Go Hammer just closes itself?
i have no idea how to s0rt it out but maybe you peoples know what to do

Which compile tools are you using? You may wish to consider using a frontend like Nem's Batch Compiler and the tools presently mentioned on our front page are recommended.

i have tried using a few different compile tools but it is all the same problem :(

Download zhlt again (I dont know if you did before) maybe its been corrupted since you downloaded for the first time :|

Yeh but that wouldnt even open

it brings up "the application fail to intialize properly (0xc0000135, Click OK to terminate the application.

Look at this and the last part of this and try compiling in a batch file, provided you managed to produce a .MAP (either using Hammer or HLFIX).
