Were does this problem lie??? I really need to fix this so i can run the map. It happens right on initalizing resources then closes css...

materialSystem_Interface_t::AllocateLightmap: Lightmap (516x47) too big to fit on page (512x256)
_______________

I deleted every light and remade a light env... im still getting the problem.

I even changed the displacement light values down to 16 instead of 70 at default... Shit it dosnt make sense... :x

Don't run RAD?

Wait for the proper SDK?

Seems to me whatever texture you're looking for is 516 units wide and should be no bigger than or equal to 512 units.

If you changed your displacement from 16 to 4, it might work. 4 goes into 516 equally... but I bet you need to adjust the texture or object to 512 or less.

I think the message was saying that the face having the lightmap applied to is only 512x256, but the lightmap's larger. Maybe you've set an odd RAD setting? Extra, perhaps?

Okay the rad is the same... and i have been playing with all the textures that are possible suspects....

So we do know for sure its a texture problem that is too big?

No, I for one don't reckon it's that at all.

Well some one told me it could be a texture. I didnt seem to get this problem pre-3d skybox work. So i deleteeed the skybox entirely... hmmmm.... I do think its an actuall texture that i might have stretched too large and gives off too much light... Hmm well the new SDK is out, ill try it and get back to you.
