Theres something that sint too good in the forums.

Your reading through some post, until you reach the bottom. At the bottom you expect there to be some numbers saying 1/2 or next. BUT WAIT... they are that the top of the page, so you have to scroll all the way back up to continue the story. this is the only forum ive seen like this. Change it, for the better

You have just found the only rub, this forum has.

Seriously, there are many more things that need to be done.
The person who is able to do it, is atom. Few know him in person, even fewer can contact him in realtime.

If you want change, send him an email. But not just a 'hey you. add a page selection to the bottom of a thread!'. Be serious. The more reasonable and mature your mail appears, the more likely it is that it changes something.

And don't be impatient. Things take their time.

But seriously, im honestly afraid of too many people sending atom glitches and him just cracking up and closing the whole thing!

But yes, that annoys me too! (but as haz said, so many other things are MORE annoying). That said, it DOES work very, very well, given the thousands of ppl who flock upon the Half Life Mecca that it is!

Neo-TheOne, I hardly notice you on here anyway, so what does it matter? Just use the grey slide bar on the right hand side on whatever browser you use to zip you back to the top. Besides, this has already been mentioned.

The page thing might not seem important, but an annoyance that is changed to make things easier and more convienient for the users can only be a positive. It seems that many people would find it more enjoyable, so spending time satisfying many people is better than time satisfying one.

Hitting "home" in both Opera and IE (college

instantly goes to the top of the page; I imagine this behaviour is fairly standard. Of course, that's without any controls in focus.
