I haven't read anything which suggest that the Raelian movement are of the brainwashing type of cult, like the Scientologists, but my money is on shifty techniques and large 'donations' from its members, and cuts from their wages etc...I must look into this, I do so love cults, er, sorry, New Religious Movements.
