You could always cheat... Noclip over the bridge and "Impulse 101"(I think it is) on the other side. And turn off capslock

hmmm there are numerous puzzles so i have some solutions:
1. one barrier requires battery packs to be placed in three slots to progress

There's a another way to get buggy to that "right" road..
There's like 60-70? uphill near the "right" way.. Use your gravgun to get the buggy up.

he means one of the gates. theres a big gate, and to open it you need to put the batteries into the sockets or whatever.

For that one puzzle with the three battery packs, I kinda just shot the car over the barrier with the gravity gun. Seemed like more fun.

Well I know sprint but I didnt think that It would work on buggy because you know its hev suit's ability to do sprint so I guess that ....who cares I solved the problem anyway

This is why I never liked the way HL2 looked in previews/trailers..

And hl2 's weapons got a problem when you got aa grenade (or a pulse ball)it doesnt shows if you got that or not

Whoever told me about the -console. I already know about that. All my Steam games have a Console but Half Life 2. There is no console in Half Life 2, at least not in mine. Nor is there an option to turn ON a console for half Life 2.

Worldcraft Dude: Yes there is you nubster! Just add yer old -console to the shortcut and it'll be there when you start the game and can later be accessible by pressing esc.

Well thank you Seventh, don't know why its in the advanced controls but at least I got it. ZOMBIE, YOU FOOLISH MORTAL! I DO have -console in my steam shortcut. But it only worked for the original Half Life engine games

It works for hl2 aswell. Add -dev while you're at it.

-console and -dev work for me. They also lose the engine-caching 3D menu backgrounds, which is a bit of a pity.

On hl2 startup. With the 3D BG it takes like 2 min just to get the menu loaded.

Yeah, but then it takes barely any time at all to load a new game - it is actually doing something useful. Plus its show-off value is through the roof
