Ive been trying to start up my steam server, but It is hosting it on lan when I set sv_lan to 0 and set it to host on the web. I know that the fact I use a router is the problem, but I dont know how to configure it to work properly. Do you have to open certain ports or what?

Look at Steampowered.com, there's a long thing about running servers, ports, forwarding, the whole caboodle (kab~?).
