Hell all im a New counter Strike/HL mapper been at it for 2-3 months,

I just Joined this web page cause it sounds like u all know what your talking about..

i just read "Certain types of maps should be banned" post and got alot of insite to mapping..

ok what i need help with, were do i put sprite "files" were they can be seen by hl or counter strike cause it wont run my map cause of that.

i read some of the tutorials on this but never said were.

btw im useing steam.

You have to unpack all the resources for CS. All the resources are stored in the Counter-Strike GCF file if I'm not mistaken. You need GCFScape (Google for it) to unpack the stuff so you can use it in Hammer.
