Ok ive made some maps for counter-strike and they run fine on my computer. But all the people who dont have a higher end video card cant run my maps. I dont understand it tho, they are many maps way more complex and they are fine for them.

Im just guessing but could it be that the textures on the outside of my map, the ones you will never see are being displayed too?

If there a see thu texture? or another way 2 fix this?

Is it just an FPS issue?

If you've skyboxed your map, then that's the problem and you should immediately remove it.

i did skybox it, should i skybox the outside too? like the part you will never see?

No.

Remove the entire skybox and rebuild the sky block by block where appropriate. Also consider other methods that might improve performance. There are null textures, hint brushes, func_wall techniques etc.

when i type in null in the filter, nothing shows up

Null is in zhlt.wad. If you don't have ZHLT, get it now. It has much better compiling tools than Hammer came with (which were old quake tools).
