still a better choice than kerry. its sad...the politician who wins the primary is the one who has the most money. and the more money you have the more well-known you are. there were plenty of people who were better than kerry...but guess what...kerry had the most money so naturally he won the primary. its not about how good a politician is, its about how much money they have.

The best laugh is: The whole war effort was to 'relieve the iraqi people of torture'... ludicrous. Look what the army is doing to 'suspected' terrorists and innocent civilians. Mainstream media tells us one fcked up story and we believe it.
Posted 19 years ago2005-01-28 16:10:30 UTC Post #86370
i dont believe anything the media says any more. i never watch the news or read the paper cause its always about politics. some people really do want to help the iraqis and others dont. personally i think getting rid of saddam was a good thing but we did it in the wrong way. and i dont think it is funny that the rest of the world mocks us while our troops are over there fighting and dying. show some respect.
Posted 19 years ago2005-01-28 16:25:03 UTC Post #86373
How can we show respect for torturing Iraqi's? I agree that saddam had to get rid, but the way they did it was wrong, so im glad the Dutch troops are getting pulled out of there very soon.

bush didnt really go in to liberate the iraqis. look back to the start of the war. he was heading in to disarm his WMD's. as soon as they ransacked through all his palaces and found nothing, THEN they decided to liberate the iraqis. top of his agenda was the WMD's.

Oh yes, the illusive WMDs that make a country very dangerous if they have them...like America for example. They have nukes coming out there ass!

...oh ofcourse...silly me, America SOLD them weapons in the first place..lol

Oh and how conveniant of them to leave lots of oil all over the place! How conveniant.... :D

Okay, now Im gonna post... you asked for it :D
Bush sux becuase hes a rebublican and he wants war...
Ieatmonkeychow, do you know anything about the republican party? Do you know what they stand for? If you payed attention to politics in a more sophisticated way, you would have more to say than "Bush sux". You just put some kind of childish name on someone because the media tells you that hes bad. I understand if you disagree with George W. Bush's stance, but be more mature in your way of posting it.

He does not want war. In order to obtain peace, you have to be ready to fight for it.
No one wants war.
Some people do want war. I do not believe that George W. Bush is one of them, otherwise I would not have supported him. How about the terrorists? They want war. They want to kill inoccent lives at the cost of their own for their leader, who brainwashes them into thinking that they will "Honor Allah" by blowing themselves up. The superiors of the terrorists want war, hence the name.
If Bush didn't want war, he wouldn't have gone to war. Saddam didn't do anything to America for Bush to all of a sudden go to war.
As I said earlier Trapt, "He does not want war. In order to obtain peace, you have to be ready to fight for it."

First of all, you claim that Saddam Husane didn't do anything to America. Remember Desert Storm? Remember what that was about?

We had Saddam Husane as our ally, so that he could help us create peace and democracy in the middle east, the center of much trouble. He pretended to go along with our plan. We gave him weapons and supplies to attack Iran, a target of his. He "Screwed us over" in a way by instead attacking the peaceful Kuwait, which happened to have much oil, and was much easier to take over. America had made a BIG mistake, so we tried to fix it. We sent troops into Kuwait and pushed that bastard all the way back into Bagdad, where we let him stay. The UN decided that if he didn't do crap like that again, and followed the rules, he could stay. So, we gave him a second change...

Then, after all that time, we recieved notice that Saddam was hiding weapons of mass destruction by the weapon inspecters there (Swedish people by the way ZL ;) )

George W. Bush thought that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I believe that there were, although they covered them up somehow (Read "The Cobra Event" to see how they could cover something like that up. Its really about a killer virus, but it starts out explaining about the virus labs that Iraq had.)

Also, since we really couldn't trust Saddam because of what happened before.

Also, because he tortured his own people. He was an evil dictator who oppressed the people, testing his own chemical weapons on his own villages.

I believe that it was a good thing we went to Iraq, so that we could free those people from his rule. I believe that everyone deserves freedom, and that those people didn't have it. Also, Saddam was a threat. We couldn't trust him after he screwed us over the first time. He did it again by making weapons of mass destruction.
kerry had the most money so naturally he won the primary. its not about how good a politician is, its about how much money they have.
Kerry didn't win the primary because of his ketchup, but it was a big contributer to his win. Politics isn't only about money. I think people vote for who they think does a better job on their speeches, where the show their stance. Just because Kerry had more commercials doesn't mean anything. I tend to find political commercials annoying, no matter what side they are on.
Look what the army is doing to 'suspected' terrorists and innocent civilians
What are they doing? how do you know? I'll tell you how:

"Mainstream media tells us one fcked up story and we believe it."
personally i think getting rid of saddam was a good thing but we did it in the wrong way.
We did not do it in the wrong way. What other way was there? Stand outside baghdad and yell "Free the people, maaaan". We had to use force to get rid of Saddam. There was no other way. If we waited, he could have struck first. Better safe than sorry dude.
How can we show respect for torturing Iraqi's?
We used new techniques to get information out of them. Just because of one event that should not have happend doesn't make freeing the Iraqis wrong. Anyway, they were suspected terrorists. TERRORISTS!!! I think people find it safer if those people are off the street. Do you even know what they do to our people? Its not on our news, which wouldn't show it because it helps our cause (BTW: The news here does not support Bush). They broadcast it on the web. They torture and starve our young men and woman who are there for the cause of freedom. They beat them and bruise them, and demand silly requests for their release. Then, when the people are almost dead, they videotape the people being decapitated.

How can you say we do bad to them if you know what they do to us?
That are not your own words, arent you blindly following one person whom makes a living of writing books about conspiracy theory's?
Sorry Jahzel, but I have to agree, although you did not quote your idol this time. no hard feeling ;)
top of his agenda was the WMD's.
Lets seee.... we have two buttons:

1: Press it and we liberate tons of people.

That is good.

2: Press it and you save countless people from getting blown up

Which would you press first?

Ok, fuck you in the ass opera, it crashed after making teh long post.
Here we go again.
Terrorists don't want war. I honestly don't think they want to kill innocent people. They're doing it to get attention for their cause, whatever it might be.
It's true that they are religiously brainwashed and have some deep misconceptions of the Koran but I don't think they want to kill innocent people.
No one wants war, unless it's profitable for that individual.

I don't think anyone is "evil" nor "good" - battles between good and evil belong in movies and books.
Everyone does things for reasons.
Anyway, they were suspected terrorists. TERRORISTS!!!
Suspected terrorists.
I'd very much like to see USAs official definition of terrorist... It appears to me as the ones in charge of things think in the courses of "Hey look, a sandnigger, he's trying to kill our people" -- Innocently arresting (torturing?) and putting thousands of middle-eastern people in custody.

On a side note; Guantanamo bay still holds hundreds (thousands?) of prisoners for being "suspected terrorists" - many of them haven't got a trial. How's that for democracy?

Thousands of Iraqi civilians have died since the US entered Iraq - Yet still this is a righteous fight for freedom?
And honestly, I don't think the majority of the Iraqi population have a "better life" now than when Saddam Hussein ruled.
There's killings in Iraq every day.

puh, end. And I'd like to say again: I don't believe there's good and evil.

depends on how you look at it. prejudice didnt make MLK famous, what made him famous is that he fought against prejudice.

as for hitler, he had a few years of glory and then it was all taken from him and he was humiliated and took his life. now hes in hell getting sodomized by satan. not what i call getting anywhere. unless he likes getting sodomized. then its a different story. :

Since terrorists are pouring into Iraq in response to calls from international terrorist networks, the number of those who are killed is especially important, for these are people who will no longer be around to launch more attacks on American soil. Iraq has become a magnet for enemies of the United-States, a place where they can be killed wholesale, thousands of miles away - Thomas Sowell

Now here you are wrong. Few years, you say? Then how come every person from the north hemisphere knows his name and what he has done? I think this it's called fame, don't you agree?
If we waited, he could have struck first. Better safe than sorry dude.
Saddam? Strike the US? Don't you think you're exaggerating his true powers? Even if he had WMDs he wouldn't be able to do this, he didn't really had the resource required. And for that "better safe than sorry" thing, you've got nukes, and they are there to protect you, or you're gonna say that the Cold War was all a bad dream. Why don't you invade Lybia for that reason? They've got assasins, they kill their own people and not just this, but they mess with other countries. There's no democracy in Lybia (a very good example of this is the trial against the bulgarian medics) and the US doesn't fucking give a damn about it, because they won't get anything out of it.

I didn't mean the USA. I meant anywhere. He had a few enemies of his own you know. If he struck, many people could have died, and many more suffered.
And for that "better safe than sorry" thing, you've got nukes, and they are there to protect you, or you're gonna say that the Cold War was all a bad dream.
"In order to obtain peace, you have to prepare for war"
Why don't you invade Lybia for that reason?
You're asking the wrong person. I'm not in the President's Cabinate ;)

I personally believe that one good seed can start a forest. I think we are planting a good seed of democracy in Iraq, and I hope that what we have done there will help to show the world that freedom is possible. I hope that this act will affect the world. I hope that it will help the middle east, a place full of war.
the US doesn't fucking give a damn about it, because they won't get anything out of it.
A claim not backed up by any thread of support.

If they want to 'rid the world of terrorism' then America ought to disarm themselves.

How can they blame a country for having wmds when they sold them to the country in the first place?

The war in Iraq was basically a war to gain an occupation in the Middle East for huge economic benefit.

Bush will eventually say that 'a threat' is visible in Iran and Korea and decide to take over those regions and other regions in the Middle East that are regarded as a 'threat'.

The Middle East is one huge economic benefit for the US economy.

In order to give a 'purpose' to the invasion of the Middle East the US had to accuse such countries of harbouring weapons of mass destruction and therefore justify the war effort.

There is no doubt that Saddam was a rufless dictator and such actions to remove him from power should be met with joy. However, now that a super power has been removed the Globalists will emerge and eventually take over the whole of the Middle East and eventually the rest of the world.

The fact is, the invasion of Iraq was planned prior to the events on September the 11th! This can be proven in an official US document entitled 'Rebuilding Americas Defences', a PNAC (Project for a New American Century) document in which it clear indicates that a planned Iraq invasion was in order. And, in order to do this a quote 'Pearl Habour-type event' was necessary.
...the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event ? like a new Pearl Harbor.

"Rebuilding America's Defenses - Strategy, Forces, and Resources for a New Century," page 51
Project for the New American Century, September 2000
To get labelled as 'paranoid' for expressing my oppinions on the Globalist agenda is deeply insulting. The truth is, the word 'paranoid' can only be labelled to those who sincerely believe that a bunch of terrorists are threatening to 'blow the world up'. The whole thing was goal in the agenda to achieve a paranoid state of insecurity and therefore justify new 'anti-terror' laws which give way to an Orwellian fascist state.

"I've got nothing to hide - I dont mind losing my liberty to save the world'.

If you believe the nonsense and propoganda and phoney 'terror laws' we are being issued with, a rethink is in order.

Well I suppose it is. Given the bizzare motives of the Globalist agenda 'weird' is a good word to use.

All this information comes, despite what people may think, from credable sources, official sources, media sources which merely suggest that there is far more to it than 'lets go get the bad guys and save the world' type of news covergae you see on mainstream media.

Well I personally would prefer anything but tapwater since it contains lots of potentially harmful chemicals and elements such as lead.

Water purification filters like the Berkey Light would be my choice.

The Jews in concentration camps were given no choice. Their water supply was flouridated as flouride is found to make prisoners more docile and more susceptable to control.
