This one time a few months ago with my old keyboard, I had decided what was under all of the keys. I found some food...a teensy bit of soda. I was feeling a wee bit stupid....and ate a fry that fell in. I needed a very quick drink of water after that.

Why is Dell so bad? Don't spam me, but I was planning to buy a Dell.

After this thread, I am going to build my next computer from scratch. I did that a long time ago, back in the days of 286's. If I remember correctly, I had a huge 8 MB of hard drive space!

Because Dells are hideously overpriced compared to what you're gunna do.

Hardest bit is picking the components. Actually rigging it all up is muy fac?l. Trickiest bit of assembling is the damn heatsink fan, they're not too bad though.

It probably only makes that sound because you stick things in it.

I later found out while disecting my old computer that there were large buildups of dust that obstructed the fan's smooth turning. Now, I have a nice prty new Dell and don't have to worry about using ducktape to fix my computer ;)

(Too bad it drained my wallet, though I did just buy a $80 chair to go with my dell)

Dell laptops are ok but DONT get a Dell desktop. If your gonna get a desktop its best to build your own.

Some kids in a remote school in the midlands got a free laptop each as part of some initiative to "bring computers to everyone"

I was shocked, but then then i saw who was the guy behind it - it was the DELL guy :D

So i was happy again.
