I was just wondering, anyone here use/used Game Maker?

I downloaded it the other day and like it very much. You can practically make any game you want (obviously except those high falutin' 3D games of today - but you can put a lot of effort into the graphics to make them look nice and 3D)

At the moment I'm learning how this code stuff works, and this Game Maker has an easy to use drag and drop code maker as well as a normal script editor type-o-thing.

Anyway, I'm currently working on my platform game 'Alex Jones: Infowarrior' where you have to eliminate the evil police in black ski-masks and defeat the evil New World Order globalist minions (such as Arnold Schwartzanegger). You also have to sneak into Bohemian Grove

I need to make more animations for walking/jumping/fighting. At the moment all you can do is punch

Yeah, i have that. Real easy to make some nice simple games with it. Btw, the pick looks good, seems like its going to be pretty damn funny

...Yeah, It's only just for stupidity this game. I'm trying to work out how to damage enemies with a simple punch attack, maybe even a combo. I could have a gun-toting Alex Jones I suppose (since he is always ranting and raving about the 4th amendment being destroyed.)

The police man with shield moves around randomly occasionally lashing out with the baton. The trouble is, I havent worked out the damage system yet. I think I could do with a bit a' help with this :

hey i use game maker and i made some pretty kool stuff =D if you need help with any thing i can help. and my friend is a expert he knows a lot of programing launguges including gml the game maker one pure basic delphie and hes learing and is allready good at c++

I used that a while ago and I know a guy who made CS on it :S
