Time to unwrap the mystery! Post here any photos that appear to be Half-Life 2 references. And don't forget to mention the name of the real place and the HL2 chapter name. A comparison picture won't be bad too.

I'm going to post pictures of my home town and compare it to Water Hazard, but Photobucket is screwed at the momment, so maybe later...

PS: Some of the images might be blurry but it was so friggin windy today that I couldn't hold the camera still. Photobucket resizing might also have affected image quality.

Well, that could be one of the many construction sites in holland. nothing special and it doesnt look like hl2.

The first name in the credits - Viktor Antonov - is the name of the art director of the whole project. This guy is bulgarian and the cyrillic language used in the levels is also bulgarian so quit spoiling about which city is City 17 based on. I'm not saying it's mine but the mass produced blocks here are so similar in all cities so it doesn't really matter.

PS: I wasn't really clear when I said to look in the credits. Sorry, I must have been drunk or something... man, I gotta lay off the alcochol!

Ah, thanks for explaining. I knew it wasn't Russian from the presence of one or two extra symbols.
