Mapping tools?

i mapped for hl1, and wanna try hl2. i heard get tools from steam, but i can not find where. If someone could explain or gimme a link that would be great =D

Under your play games list, assuming you already own a Source package, there's a 'Source SDK' item in the tools section of the menu. If you don't own HL2/Source games, you need to purchase them first.

oh. "get it form steam" as in the program not the website. thanks =D. is it easier to setup than hammer used to be?

Yep, since it will automatically set up the game configs for you.
