I just spent 2 hrs on a new av, and for some freak reason, everytime I try to upload it, it simply dosen't upload, my old av simply remains my personal av.
Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

It looks new to me. 
You have to empty your cache and stuff for the new one to appear.

It's uploaded, don't worry. Due to some slight oversight on atom's part peoples' browsers (even the best) are not noted that the image has changed, so you have to refresh yourself (typically F5).
