If a member posts more than 10 new topics within 10 minutes, he should be temporarily disabled.

We can find the street and address of the offender using the IP address with a program I have, then the nearest person to the offender can just go over and slap the offender with a wet fish and put sharp objects up the offenders anus.

Maybe there should be some timer that doesn't let you post new topic, lets say for 10 minutes or something. Same with posts (30 seconds or so).

I don't think such methods will help - but they will annoy users who want to post about multiple subjects at once...

Besides, how often did such spam appear and moderators couldn't handle it? I don't see use for this as a warning system either - regs do a good job at that already (maybe a too good job).

Cap. is right...We rarely get spammers however I agree also that a 10 post spam block thing would be cool. I never post more than 10 a day.

I think VOX meant a limit on posting new threads, not a reply/post limit.

Don't worry, what spam-protection there will be in TWHL3 will be completely, uh, non-irritating. I get pretty pissed off at those stupid damn timers.

So yeah, TWHL3, over the summer, cunning spam protection.
