Iv know about these models ever since i got HLMV, but im wonderin some of em are or what they were originally intended for.

These for example

sphere
in_teleport
w_flare

and one that was in the game...."base"
/ thats the one i was really wonderin about...wtf is that.

Sphere has animations for shooting so I'm guessing it was originally going to be an enemy. the POV team made it into one.

The "base" is the bottom of a tentacle. Replay half lfie and when you get to the water after killing the tentacles you'll see a base model.
