Hi,

I'm looking for an experienced mapper to help with a proof of concept SP gameplay-mode map.

I don't want to give any details out because then I would have to kill you and I'm sure you all know the phrase "Need to know basis". Anyway the map itself probably wouldn't take much more than a hour to make but there may need to be a little scripting.

If you are interested please drop me a line to planetphillip AT gmail DOT com

I've posted on a few other forums just in case! And before you purists sya something like" Why doesn't he just learn to map himself?" my answer is that we all have to be realistic and with my other commitments I just don't have enough time.

TIA

" Why doesn't he just learn to map himself?"
Nobody would say that in here.

But most mappers would most likely to hear the concept before volunterring for a map.I mean some may be good at architecture, some may want to be involved in a map that contains mostly entity work.

Good point. Initially there would be little architecture involved. It would mostly involve basic layout and enemy movement. Are enemies classed as entities. (Question design to display level of knowledge not actually looking for an answer!)

What do you think? In helping create the map. Hopefully not everybody will be as obtuse.

Yes they are , but they are the most basic entity.

Well anyway-still, we need to hear it.

Sorry but I don't want to post the idea on a forum. I'm hoping somebody is prepared to spend a little time helping me. OF course anybody who expresses an interest will be told but not on a forum.

Sound shitty but I think it's a really interesteing idea (Doesn't everybody think that about their own ideas!) and I want to keep it a secret until we find out whether the concept is worth promoting.
