I used to get this error when compiling, and it said something about too much direct light styles on a face. The problem is solved now, but i was just wondering what this face exactly is.

A face is a surface of a brush.

A cube has six, for example.

Plane: think of that face extending to infinity, that is a plane, anything else that is 'level' with that face now extended to infinity, is on the same plane
