ive played the entire game, need proof?
ive played the underwater ocean lab map.
ive played the airfield map.
ive played the paris section of the game
The game ends with you having the choice of doing 3 different things
Ive also played deus ex 2, so i have justification to say that it ultimatley sucked.

To be honest though, it was the VERY poor gameplay that got me. The boss fights, were too easy, just shoot them with a rocket, most of the time before they even turn hostile :lol:
The whole idea of the game was pretty far fetched, and it had to do with conspiracies in government, and crap like that, which just annoys the heck out of me. If you like it, thats fine, this is just my opinion. :

and holy crap this thread is getting really off topic.

If you want to debate with me over how deus ex sucked, or didnt suck, open a new thread :lol:

shh, deus ex is good. deus ex 2 is not. system shock 2 is better :)

Agreed. Deus Ex is win. There are a few poorly built maps, but all in all, it's a superb game.

And how the hell does Gordan get by without making a sound? They ask him a question, he says nothing, no one seems to care. If I get asked a question, people pester me for a response. It just. Doesn't. work. Period.

ATDestroy, Valve has said that Gordon is not technically mute, they just wanted YOU to be in the shoes of the character, which hearing yourself speak kind of destroys. In my opinion though they took it a bit farther than that in HL2 with Alyx commenting on your somber personality.

These threads are doomed to become, for example, discussing gordon's lack of speech because people get bored of saying hello very quickly. And is that really that suprising?

Hey there, I'm glad to see there is a site that cover's Goldsrc mapping that's actually still active! I've played around with mapping on and off for the last ten years or so but never really got that deeply involved in it.

But I'm ready now. I try to answer most of my Qs with tuts, but I still have a few lingering questions cuz I'm trying to do some kind of wierd things.
