when using the 'run' menu to load a map or game and using commands like -console and -dev and +maxplayers, what is the command to make a lan game? (PS i am not talking about the pre-compile setting window)

if you are talking about using 'run' in hammer, I strongly suggest you use HLCC 1.4 instead, a tool that really should be in everyone's arsenal as it makes compilation a breeze

You might also mean +deathmatch 1
