how do you know what the name is for the sentences... like SC_ASK or somin?

If it's not there, use Wally to extract it from PAK0.PAK/sound/

With individual sentences, you need a ! at the start, with sentence groups (like with the speaker), you don't, and you just type "NEAR_WAR" or whatever the sentence group is, without the numbers etc.
