I overlooked this when I noticed that srry's avatar was displaying as 'Avatar' in plain, old text. However, I just signed back on after a one hour absence (when my avatar was displaying), to find that is no longer the case. All I see is 'Avatar' under my name. You can see posts from both of us here.

Has this happened to any other members? Has anyone else noticed this?

Hmm...well anyway, here's a screen cap of the problem. Maybe someone can tell me what needs to be changed on my end.

Strange. What browser are you using? Does it happen in all of them?

I'm using FireFox, and I don't know. I rarely use IE inless I need to, for saw Windows Media Player embedded video. I'll check and get back to y'all.

Oh, and while surfing in another thread, I noticed the same problem for Habboi and Worldcraft Dude.

EDIT I see all the mentioned avatars in IE. Must be a setting in FF.

My guess is that a certain image type is messing with your browser and so it's not displaying properly. Did you notice the problem immediatly after an avatar change?

All the avatars you cant see are PNG's.

Try hitting F5, mebbe?

If you can't see mine either... a PNG problem. Very odd. You either buggered something up somehow or are using some perculiar build of FF. Latest version?

Happens spariodically for me too. Latest version of firefox, usually when my internet connection is under substantial stress. Torrenting, for example.

its because you're not using Opera which is vastly superior to FF

Especially with idiotic claims that opera is in some way whatsoever superior to FireFox.

Hunter thats all plain non sense. It happened to me too. The thing you mentioned only happens because most people use firefox.

Lets not turn this into a opera better then firefox or vise versa thread. They are both good, just a matter of personal taste. :tired:

It could be the stress thing that Penguin Boy mentioned. It seems to be working fine right now and I haven't started my torrents up yet.
