reason 3 has some great instruments and if you're not to good with a keyboard, you can create the whole thing on virtual sequencers - its great fun!

Yeah, but Reason's over $400. If you want to make music, download ACID XPress and some music loops from here. If you know what you're doing you can create some good stuff using premade loops.

Acid Xpress isn't free. Well it is but it's only to LOOK at. You can't make any music in the free version. Is there any free music creation softwares? What do others use? Do they buy the stuff/or torrent it? Can someone help me out here .

If you want any sort of decent software for creating music with loops and/or live recordings you'll have to either shell out the (usually immense amounts of) cash, or torrent it. Needless to say the latter is the easier option for you and your wallet.

Too complicated, and the sound doesn't work.

Dude, if you want to make music you're going to have to learn how to use the software.

I dunno if it's what you're looking for or not, but there is Audacity, and it's completely free.

You get failed for flailing.

Besides, n00bs actually do come here and say stuff like that. I don't think Rotator is a complete non-n00b yet, but that could just be me being n00bish.

That's because you refuse to take the time to learn how to set the program up. Stop being such a baby and find some tutorials.

Or you could try this. I don't care.
