I have been making CS maps, (1.6) and i was using HL textures and noticed that the textures were huge compared to the cs ones. and i was wondering, is there a way after u get hte texture the way you want it, (such as a door) to shrink it, but keet it looking the way you want?

What CS textures are you talking about? In CS, everything does seem substantially smaller, as your point of view is set lower, so using the default Half-Life textures can be problematic as far as scaling goes. you'll have to use the texture application tool if you want stuff like doors to be scaled better, but I wouldn't recommend scaling textures below 1.00 on large faces, such as walls. For most applications, it's best to use textures that are the right size by default.

Not sure if that answers your question, I had a bit of trouble understanding you.
