Hey, what's up everybody?

First forum post, but don't worry, i searched first :) !

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on your excellent mapping community.

Here's the deal:

I am currently making a CS fy_ map, with a mortar field in the middle of the map. My problem is that, when s.o. presses the button which calls in the mortars, everyone that is looking in the direction of the minefield is "flashbanged" for about 6 seconds! As you might imagine, this is highly inconvenient in CS.

What i want to know is, if there is a way to reduce/eliminate this FB effect duration.

I've never heard of this happening.. I actually think it's quite a cool effect. :P

does it happen even if they're behind a wall?

Not in a fy_ map, it isn't!

It doesn't happen as bad, just a really short whiteout, 0.1 secs>.

I will record it on fraps when i get home, then i'll tube it and post it here.
