used in Half-life 1 mapping for the people who havent got
a program to open the .gcf's or just lazy...

Nice list, though I'm one of the people who DOES have the contents of the gcf on his computer.

What you should do someday is match the numbers of the Half-Life music tracks with the file names.

For example, HalfLife6.mp3 does not equal "Track 6" on entities used for playing CD tracks.

StoneFrog, that is very annoying, but it was fixed on Steam I believe. Also, I believe somebody did that over at VERC.

Anyway, I think people should just get GCFScape already! They'd be missing so much without it...

No really, the list is useless.
What you are trying to do is nice, but its really unneeded in this age of programs like Jed's HLMV or GFC Scape.

Long list is Loooooong...

I remember a long time ago I had to use some console command to display the name of the sounds playing then I had to make my own list because I couldn't get into the pak file. wish I had these lits a long time ago, but things are different now.

I think its better to offer the gcf viewers instead of a list.
