Is there a console command in HL that can trigger a specific animation on an npc?
By that I mean simple stuff, like walking, crouching, jumping, etc.

Is there such a thing? Help would be apreciated.

You can do it on hammer, but I don't know how, I don't MOD.

No such command exists. Spike is right, you can do it in Hammer.
Use Hammer 3.5 so that models show up in Hammer, then go to the NPC's properties and scroll down untill you see "Hammer animation". Change it's value and it will change what they are doing in Hammer.

You could also try a cycler. Just put one in your map and shoot it ingame to cycle through the animations. You won't get animation names, though. Only the order they go in.

Did you use hammer 3.5 ? I ask because I see it's better than 3.4 because you can align the models easier .

Are there any probelms ? known bugs , something ?
Striker StrikerI forgot to check the oil pressure

I seem to have encountered a problem (in hammer 3.5).

Textures aren't being displayed on my map, instead they're replaced by some purple and black squares.

Any idea whats going on?

Is there a way to spawn monsters from the console?
'impulse 76' will do grunts, and 'impulse 203' will remove monster entities you're aimed at. I think it'd be great to spawn a line of barney's and then a line of grunts across the map at each other and see who wins. I know I won't be able to get them to do animations without mapping for it.
