Figured I'd make a thread, seeing as how it seems I'm spamming my Journals..

So this is for, well, you guessed it, concept art..

So Heres a new image I'm working on, all my others were too dark, so I'm going to try getting away from that, so If I get frustrated and give up, don't blame the tools, blame me... You guys know how I work, I make dark maps, I guess I'm just fascinated by light and shadow, and the atmospheric effect it has... so here we go, first picture is a quick 5min sketch which is unfinished... the hands are blocks, because I have trouble with them, and will get back to them..

so guys, I changed him quite a bit, got rid of the nose, and worked on tone and facial features, he's no longer human, since I'm still struggling with features of the human face. He's still rather bright and not dark which is a good sign.. LOL

So heres a finished character, its not that great, but it is my first somewhat completed peice, not sure whats wrong with it, I just think it could be greatly improved, I think the composition should be changed...As for the old man, I kinda got bored with it, and my class assignments change very quickly so its hard to stay caught up when your working on peices like these.. so, heres another version of the old man, from the back..
