I very roughly organized some killing space. However, half of it is good, and half of it is crap. I knew that was going to happen because the same thing happened when I was planning it out on paper. I'll provide some files if you want to see what I mean.

My latest User posted image map, download this package if you want to run around it first-hand.

I pretty much need criticism, ideas, or even help as to how to make this map functional on both sides. If at all possible, since Daubster has a server going, it can be tested and tweaked as needed. Provided is an RMF so if you have any ideas that would be better shown, just map it in.

We'll worry about the pretty texturing later. I want to take this one slow and do it right.

It looks good, I hope you'll pick appropriate textures.
Will there be wall around the map or something else?

You have some random pipes in your map. Its all cool and stuff but it hasnt really got any use ..

So what I was thinking, place some of those pips in other places. And then add a teleport in the end of the pipe, and let it teleport to another pipe in the opposite of the map. Kinda like pacman ..

the map is nice. altho you do have to put some work on the blank (crap) side of the map. maybe add some of those pipes? or perhaps a large or maybe two large entrance doors, to add some sense of reality to the map... what you could also add is some balconies and make some of them accesible.

Edit: oh, and whats with the long pipes that lead nowhere? maybe make the middle ones lead the player all the way to the other side of the map? or maybe a sewer system? :)

oh, perhaps i should mention that the pipes are grated off, as of yet i haven't put in the water or anything.

i'm still fuggin with it.

Your maps always have one or more rows of arches. A typical Rimrook style.

Picture this:

Take the architecture of Bored or dm_crete or Crete 2 or CRETE 3 or CRETE 4 or Sancefar and make sure you put plenty of stairs and arches in the map. Then texture the entire map with only one texture.

There's your dm_astrial.

No need for screenshots anymore. :D
