Makes me feel sorry for you, all those classics you can't enjoy. :<

I'm starting to think I'm the opposite of you now, I don't enjoy as many new games as I think I should, but I love all the oldies.

I still play Dune 2 now and then. Not because of the graphics, but because of the gameplay.

Which reminds me of the old term...."Oldies, but Goodies"

Geez...

DosBox is a Dos simulator which supports SoundBlaster and Adlib sound which is unavailable in Windows.

So if you don't want to experience the original SB music and sound effects in its full glory, don't install DosBox.

As for my favorite side, i don't have one, because there's hardy any difference between the armies. I guess Harkonnen would be my favorite side, because they have the Devastator tank and the Death Hand Missile.

I still play the old Command and Conquer, and the first Red Alert.

Great storylines, and very challenging gameplay.

I just love rediscovering old games, or even discovering them for the first time. Age does not do much to deter me. I played No One Lives Forever the whole way through for the first time this year. Awesome game. No One Lives Forever 2 and Contract Jack still to come. ;D

Turns out my PC is schizophrenic. It runs CS:S at 10fps and Far Cry 2 maxed at 15fps. Still, its pretty unplayable that way. Medium settings look pretty good and run perfectly on my PC.

Been playing as much as possible over the past 3 days and well. Its awesome but extremely repetitive. However just when you think it's getting boring the game throws something else your way. The buddy system is cool though. I lost 2 today and now they're gone forever. :( (well, until I start a new game)

R.I.P.

Warren Clyde: Died in my arms after 2 minutes of trying to revive him when an ammo dump exploded in his face.

Quarbani Singh: Covered my back while I searched for an objective item, took a shot to the head before I could get back to him.

Urby must go avenge them now.

Both my first 2 buddies died because of plot advancement :(
I'm into act 2 atm.

That reminds me, ammo dumps catching on fire are AWESOME.

Still on act 1. I'm taking it slow (not to mention getting lost and stumbling into random shootouts a lot)
