I seem to get Bill all the time when i pick a random character, mind you, i seem to like bill the most, his voice actor, i know him from somewhere! Anyway, I hosted a online server for a while on normal and we had some fun on that. Now, however, I have already kicked up the level to advanced and tried it on my own, (while im offline). I can't get past the last subway train. By then we've all used our healthkits and on no more than 25% health. Then we get swamped by either two hoards of zombies or a tank. I like getting to the end of the first level though, my score is usually 150+ with each other player killing approx 50. THATS A LOT OF FREAKING ZOMBIES!!!

Bill's voice sounds familiar to me but I can't find a name or anything. As far as I can tell it's the same guy who voiced Father Grigori, The Fisherman from HL2: Lost Coast and the scientists in the Official Released HL1 total-conversion Gunman Chronicles.
Also, I believe Zoey is voiced by the same person who did Cortana in the Halo series.

Here's a question for you: how do you enable the console on european keyboards? Neither "enable developer console" or -console in the launch options seems to do anything.
I've played it only with friends over skype, and yes, it is fun... for a while. I'm afraid this game'll get boring quite fast, not too sure I'll invest in it.

or something like that. Put it in autoexec.cfg. If Left 4 Dead works like all other Source games, that is.
If you want to open the console in the menu, I think you press the ' button, shift + ', shift + ?, ? or something. Doesn't always work.

L4D rocks, especially on expert, when you tell you buddy not to shoot at the car, and he does it anyway for some laughs, glad its the end of the first school period so we dont have to worry about getting stuff done already ^_^;.

No, the countdown means that once the full thing goes live, you won't be able to play online anymore. Though you can still do single-player on your own lame self.

I can't play online with the demo anyway. Whenever I tried to connect to a server, the search gets stuck in an infinite loop, and I end up in an empty lobby.

Steam pisses me off as far as running my games while in dual-screen mode. So I think I want it for Xbox.
In L4D what makes me mad is playing on expert and everyone thinks they're tough shit so they go off and try and hold their own in their own little corner. Then we all die...

Expert is only for team players, preferably with friends, in my opinion.
Public expert matches often fail miserably.
Edit: BTW, Left 4 Dead might seem to run alright, but it will show its darkside if you try to run it on a system under its minimum memory spec.
Found that out because my brother tried to run it on a computer with 512 memory and Left 4 Dead brought it to its knees.
And is anyone else getting some lag and connection issues when loading up the second map on an online server? It lasts for about a minute then stops.

I knew I recognised some of the voices.
Bill / Grigori was an obvious one. He believe also voiced the scientists in Gunman Chronicles. I think thats where Valve picked him up. If not they sound almost identical.
