Hey guys, I'm having a serious issue with server administration.

In GMOD (for those who dont know or havent read about it) you can basically spawn anything... from ragdolls to NPC's to, well, ANYTHING!

Last night I went into my server through the client, and saw a bunch of "sawblade traps" (similar to those in Ravenholm) and in the control panel (Q) there is "admin" and "clean up everything" where you put your server password in, and then go to clean up and click on it. NOT WORKING!

I've searched google only to find weirdo vodeis and such.

Can anyone shed some light on how I can admin this stupid server without having to change maps? (which shuts it down and restarts it every time)

3 gmod threads, esmajor? Perhaps just keep them to the one?

As for your problem - The in-game admin commands in gmod are a joke. They rarely work 100%.
there's probably a version of the Admin Gun SWEP that'll achieve what you want.

As for map change, are you using the "changelevel" command or the "map" command, because only the "map" command will disconnect other players.

Keeping it all in one thread would risk having people answer one question 3 questions ago...

not sure what your problem is, but theres a cmd to keep people in the server without shutting it down at a levelchange

instead of using

map <mapnamehere>

use

changelevel <mapnamehere>
