Hello crazyb2000 here. I have been in coffee shops drawing sketches of new half-life characters and I thought of something for a half-life 2 looking back to half-life 1 mod: Female scientist zombie + female scientist. I want to ask what modeling tool for half-life 1 I could use because I have XSI Mod tool but I'm not any good at modelling and the mdl exporter doesn't work.

Crude, though you're getting the idea through. Might be the fault of poor quality, try scanning it.

I can't. not today anyway. next week I can use a scanner.

Have you tried Milkshape3D? Its pretty crude in terms of modelling but I find for hacking and tweaking models its a fairly easy thing to pick up.

No, you can just get the trial version, and you need to decompile the MDL first. Alternatively, get the zombie source files: http://ambientimpact.hl-improvement.com/downloads_npc.htm

AH Great! thanks alot but... I do need tips. I'm really not good It'd take more than 30 days to create if i'm doing it. and I not patient.

You need to learn to be patient if you want to model.
