Greetings.

So basically, I am trying to hax the head of some models (example : put the head of male07 on a metrocop model)

But I come across some problems :E

• Impossible to find a working source model decompiler ?
• I have 3dsmax 2009 that works and a XSI mod tool that refuses to send me my activation key, wich one of the best to use for the purpose ?
• I assume the heads won't fit perfectly and it will require some fixing, does it include bone fixing or something such ?

Ok I fixed the first point, i've found a working source model decompiler.

I assume you would have to adjust both the bones and the mesh.

ended up on this when compilling

ERROR: cannot find bone ValveBiped.Bip01_L_Toe0 for bbox
ERROR: Aborted Processing on 'alley\Citizen\Female_01.mdl'

Okay I managed to compile model using mergebones on the two toe that were causing problem, though the model is all black and doesn't follow the bones <_<

It's not, it's like combine trenchcoat model merged with alyx head, or gman head on eli's body, you see what I mean.

edit : After a whole day of search and trys, I managed to do it.
