not only that i'm devistated. all that money. and I'm not a rich person. I was lcuky to have those games. and to think it was a friend as well. he nice for ages. I just want to get my games back. any help because steams being stupid.

Contact valve and tell them someone hacked your account? That's usually recomended. But sometimes they just go through your account, make your friends fall for it and move on.

And since when does watching South Park make it OK to violate a copyright and IP. What you are doing can actually harm Valve in sales, not if you would do it right, but by doing it wrong. If you would to succeed in the first place.

Those where the days of when i was hldude, i didn't understand much back then, i asked people to convert models for me because i didn't know how, when they said it would be illegal, so i asked them to make models just like the hl2 ones.
i flamed the people that said it couldn't be done, i flamed everybody who suggested against it.

Still, I've matured since then, and that is behind me now.

EDIT: i can code new npc's and weapons and such now, but to me, it honestly IS a waste of time, it takes me about an hour to convert 2 models, it's just not worth the effort, believe me, it's just not worth it.

right now we're trying to make it so that if you want to pickup an entity (say a weapon) you tap the USE key. but we don't know hwo to do it really.

if you want to make a prop_physics useable, as in picking it up with "e", you just have to set a low weight, and it will automatically be usable.

Pick up how? Like 'Pick up that can' or 'pick up that gun and take that guy out'? I explained for 'pick up that can' if you want to carry extra ammo with you in weapon form.

Oh. Well we know it's possible, I don't have the slightest idea on how to do it, though. Perhaps PB or Muzzleflash know how, or if all else fails, look in the L4D sourcefiles or ask someone who's done it for source.

It means you pick up a box of ammo or the gun itself with a clip inside like you would a can, but only if you have full ammo and want to take more with you. I'm not even sure what I suggested would work for that, but in theory it should. I assume you want to 'use' to place in the players inventory now.

hl1 is very different to hl2 code. anyway the team have decided that it's pointless. now they're working more on models.

but we're working on a multi-player game sert in one of the levels. and it's called city of the dead. it has all of he weapons and textures and models. it's going to come out soon. and there will be a server opening as well. so I'm looking forward to that.
