To which games do you want *quels the most?

My list:
Broken Sword - I don't care if it's 2D or 3D, I love all the Broken Sword PC games except #2 which was a huge disappointment.
Deus Ex - I'm looking forward to playing Deus Ex 3, I really hope they don't screw up...
Counter-Strike - I want a new Counter-Strike with new weapons and more gameplay modes. They shouldn't have removed es_ or the m4a1 scope and the shield's missing in CS: S.
Half-Life - I would like another game like Opposing Force, Uplink, Decay or Blue Shift, which takes place during the same period of time as the original Half-Life.
Age of Empires - III sucked, buildings were built to fast and everything happened too fast - you could be doing great one second and the next you're dead - while in the first games it could take fifteen minutes getting through a wall. Strategy games don't need 3D graphics.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Please, please make a prequel!
Warcraft III - Warcraft III is the only WC game I like. I wish Blizzard would stop making WoW expansions and make another WC RTS.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - After the third game, the series turned shit. I don't want to ride on a mechanical bull or play "Jackass", I want to collect S-K-A-T-E and find the secret tape. I want a new TH game based on the original concept.
Virtua Squad 2 - VC2 is possibly the best game every created. You're a cop who shoot bad guys using your mouse or lightgun. One day, I'll make my own unofficial sequel with lots of maps. 3 just isn't enough.

Ones that actually exist:

Serious Sam HDs - I know they're halfway out already (my bro says he'll get them when they come bundled together on steam).
Diablo 3 - Loved Diablo 2, can't wait for this one.
Mount & Blade: Warband - Also already out, but it's still too pricey.
Half-Life 2 Episode 3 - Goes without saying.
Portal 2 - Same with this one.

Others:

Super Smash Bros Brawl - One of my favorite games. It was awesome to begin with, and it can only get better.
Jagged Alliance 2 - I like this game. It's fairly simple, but good. It just works.
Battletoads - I grew up with this game, and it has always been one of my favorite games, even now. It's a shame it isn't on the Wii's Virtual Console.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. There's probably more.

Well if you can somehow snag a working client, that's pretty much what CS: Online is.
The thing about Counter Strike, though, is that there's no real practical room for any kind of sequel. Otherwise it would just seem like another tactical shooter game wit the Counter Strike name slapped on.
That and you could remove all but 5 guns from the game, and most players wouldn't play the game any differently.

Battletoads ftw! i would love a sequel to that xD, and i agree with soup miner, how can you make a sequel to a game that had no story in the first place?

and games I would like to see a sequel to? lets c...

Borderlands maybe? I liked the first one but don't know how you could extend that further.
Another Elderscrolls game would be awesome, and mass effect 3 would be nice aswell.

I disagree. The first 3 games lacked structure, you just had a list of tasks to do and were given a time limit to do them. The introduction of free-roaming in THPS4 was the best thing that could have possibly happened to the franchise. Also 4 was a massive hit online.

But my favorite of the franchise would definitely have to be Underground, because it really dived into a free-roam type game and pulled it off so well. And your character finally had a story to drive the game. Not to mention a truckload of new mechanics that never got outdone by later games. The rest of the games never really introduced anything so radically new, they just sort of touch up on everything that's already there.

Edit: Underground was to the THPS franchise as TF2 was to the Team Fortress franchise. Of course, maybe that's why you didn't like it.

I think the time limits kept the games simple and added structure, but I'm OK with free-roaming. Let me break down my experiences with the later Tony Hawk games. Oh and I like TFC and TF2 about the same - I think they're both good games.

In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 you got to fly jetpack, jump 200 metres in a shopping kart, listen to instructions and got to know all the stars... in other do words less skateboarding. I found it very frustrating. The only positive I can say about the game is that the soundtrack was an improvement from earlier games.

I haven't played Underground enough to give it a fair judgement. I played a few maps in the GBA version and it was fun, so I should probably give it another chance. I've only tried the PC version once.

One thing I really don't like about - and what made me stop playing - Underground 2 is that many of the missions are focused on committing as many crimes as possible and being an annoying bastard. "World Destruction Tour"!? Then there's the mechanical bull...

Down Hill Jam for GBA - just looking at it makes you want to hide under a bed for days, playing it makes you want to hide for weeks.

I've only played the first game and it's one of my favourite games. I should really get a Wii so I can play the other games in the series and so I can play Epic Mickey when it comes out.

I'm probably the only active member of TWHL that don't like HL2, Ep1, Ep2 or Portal and isn't very excited about their sequels.

My favorite THPS is nr 4, hands down. I don't like the jackass style of the later games in the series.

I'd like to see a proper sequel to Perfect Dark, in the same style as the original. Rare's attempt to turn Joanna into someone from charlie's angels (PD:Z) was a complete failure and should've been canned instantly.

I'd really like EA to pull their finger out and develop another kick-ass Need For Speed game like Most Wanted. Most Wanted was the best Need for Speed to date.

I'm with Soup on Tony Hawk, Underground was the best, although I do like the classic modes, so as long as they keep them in like they have I'd be happy.

I'd also like to see the next Unreal.

I think another Destruction Derby game would do well right about now. Euphoria physics and all that. :D

Hmm, all the games I can think of are already getting sequels, so I guess my wish is for them to hurry up!

Beyond Good & Evil 2,
Mass Effect 3,
Thief 4 (I refuse to call it Thi4f),
Deus Ex 3,
Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Oh, I suppose I want a Psychonauts 2, a proper Wii sequel to Wind Waker and Timesplitters 4 to be back under construction and have absolutely nothing to do with Crytek.

Remember Blast Corps made by Rareware back in the day for the Nintendo 64? I want to see Blast Corps 2 with today's modern physics and graphics. It would only be no less than epic if it was done.

Yeah.... That... Here's a video for nostalgic purposes.

Holy shitnuggets, they cannot seriously be calling it that. Looks it up.

Oh God... that's just so preposterously ugly. I mean... what the hell. Almost as bad as this new trend of calling sequels (or prequels) just the original title (with maybe a slight modification): Rocky Balboa, Aliens Vs. Predator, Star Trek -- it's retarded.

I'm looking forward to ME3 and any eventual Half-Life sequels. And Cataclysm. Yes, I'm a WoW addict.

What the fuck is Thiaf?

EDIT: I can't believe I forgot about this. How awesome would that be to have the ultimate Star Wars prequel of when Yoda is a padawan bartender or something. Also, that would be the old assed republic. Its the only part of star wars that hasn't been raped and could be rather nice. Shit, just make it all in CG and call it a day.

Although technically not a sequel, it does have a "2" in the title; Dudebro: My Shit Is Fucked Up So I Got to Shoot/Slice You II.

Yes, that's the title. Yes, it has the most bad-ass protagonist ever. Yes, it's being developed by members of an online community.

Also, major bump. Go me!

I really want them to make another cover-based war shooter.

Oh wait...

Shit, just realized I missed the subtitle for Dudebro 2... the full title is Dudebro: My Shit Is Fucked Up So I Got to Shoot/Slice You II: It's Straight Up Dawg Time.
