Hey people.

I have a weird problem for quite some time now.

Some of my NPCs I've placed in a previous map are for some reason after a levelchange in my next map. I think I saw once a topic regarding this problem here on the board but I can't find it anymore.

How can I fix it that my npcs (for some reason just some of them.) wont join me in the next map.

To give you an idea what I'm talking about I'll show you 2 screenshots.

Any ideas? In this topic I once read someone suggested some box over those npcs with a trigger or condition of some kind but I can't remember what exactly it was all about.

Yeah, I think you put a box of trigger_transition around the area in which you want things to carry over to another map. Changelevels are really annoying sometimes, and I haven't done too much with those.

Based on that and the movie theatre map you have, your mod is going to be impressive, I think.

So with a Trigger_transition they wont spawn with me in the next map right? I'm asking because you said the opposide like I wanted them to spawn with me into the next map. ^^

Glad you like my movie map. Yes my mod wont become just a simple mappack. I focus a lot on story elements therefore I will use many recorded custom voices & custom skins important for my story etc.
So far I have an Intro Chapter, a Blackmesa inbound Chapter. More planned chapters are a horror like chapter in which you will fight against mutated grunts etc. (custom models)

Most of the pictures how ever are heavily outdated I enhenced most maps by now from the layout, textures etc.

op4 mod! That's excellent. of course I'm saying that because I have op4. Unfortunate for those that don't.
