Anyone tried the Aether Mod for Minecraft yet?
This mod adds a new realm like the Nether. It's a entirly new world in the sky. There are new blocks, new items, new crafting recipe's new mobs and even a accessory system!

It's one of the only mods I'll use because it's really good and doesn't modify what's already in place.

They need to simply make that the next update. The workin is already done, Notch just needs to download it and maybe tweak it a bit.

I remember the yogscast doing a video on it. They say that if you wait long enough, night falls, and the game might crash and corrupt your file.

Yeah but half the time Xephos and Honeydew don't know what their talking about. Night doesn't actually crash the game.

Looks cool, but Notch has repeatedly stated that an official skyland realm is planned for the near future (aleady being developed infact, I remember seeing some screenshots). MC is just one of those games that never needed modding IMO.

I want an underwater world. With whales. That give Blubber Steak.
Or a world of massive trees. That I think would be better than the sky realm because its does have some element of solid land below. It'd be cool exploring tunnels in the trees made from giant Termites.
